It’s about time I created some Lord of the Rings inspired art! Here is my interpretation of Smaug The Magnificent, the dragon from The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. Smaug is proud, arrogant, poised and fierce, I’ll continue to work on these themes as the painting progresses. I imagine I’ll develop the image into Smaug lounging upon his mound of gold within the depths of the Dwarven stronghold.
