Commissioned by author Matthew Lucus for the cover of his book ‘A Roar In The Pinelands’; aimed at teens and adults.
The blur effect on the tail and paws adds depth and movement. This helps emphasise the energy of the confrontation and the battle about to commence. A fiery colour scheme and storm clouds compliment the drama happening below. Vultures circle overhead watching with beady eyes. A presence that indicates to the viewer that this face-off could be fatal for one of the powerful combatants.
